Is Someone Missing?

If you have a family member, friend or know of someone missing, overdue or lost and injured then dial 111. The Police are the lead agency in Land Search and Rescue and they respond first as part of their duty to Serve and Protect. Our men and women in blue are trained as first responders in these events and will conduct the inquiries necessary. The Police engage Marlborough Search and Rescue when the situations are appropriate and enough information is gathered to conduct a search or rescue.  By national Memorandum of Understanding, Marlborough Search and Rescue cannot conduct funded operational activities until the Police engage them in the event.
